· B) Free Trial introduction
1) Overall introduction
1.1 What is SHEIN Free Trial?

It’s a program where customers can try certain items for free and submit a detailed review about the overall experience (including quality, style, fit, fabric, and construction). These reviews help other shoppers and help improve products.

1.2 Trial report

If selected, you must submit a report on the item sent to you within 10 days of receiving it. Reports should include photos and a detailed description. Strong reports may be labeled “High Quality” and can earn additional points.

· C) How it works (statuses, winners, and review publishing)
  1. Click Free Trial on an item. Status shows as Pending under My Application.
  2. After review, winners are announced on the main Free Trial page.
  3. If you did not win, status shows Failed.
  4. If you won, status shows Approved, and the item is shipped to the address you provided.
  5. After receiving the item, you have 10 days to submit your report.
  6. SHEIN reviews your report to confirm it meets requirements.
  7. If your report doesn’t meet requirements or fails to upload, you get one more chance to re-upload.

Note: after approval, your content may appear on the product review page. Your username may be shown, but personal information is hidden.

A quality report should explain your opinion and describe pros and cons. It should be helpful and specific.

  • Capture details while wearing the item; multiple clear photos are recommended.
  • Suggested: full body view + detailed shots + styling/fit notes.

· N) FAQs
Am I required to pay shipping fees?

Shipping fees are covered by SHEIN; the requirement is submitting your review within 10 days of receiving the item.

I applied for the same sample with different IDs and got selected twice. Can I get multiple samples?

No. Members cannot receive multiple samples of the same item. Creating multiple/fake accounts violates rules and can result in bans.

Can I keep the Free Trial item after I submit my review?

Yes. If selected, the item is yours to keep once you submit a successful trial product review.

Will the list of winners be announced?

Yes. The Help Center says winners are announced in the Trial Center.

What if my size or address is wrong?

Once the order is generated, size/address usually cannot be changed. Double-check before submitting.

I was chosen but the item isn’t my style. Can I switch to another item?

No. Once chosen, the item cannot be changed. The Help Center suggests asking a friend or family member to help with the review if needed.

What should I do if the Free Trial review fails to upload?

Check that your submitted link directs to the Free Trial product you obtained. The Help Center also notes a minimum image size requirement (at least 500×680px). If it still fails, submit the info you want to upload plus a screenshot showing the failure to Customer Service for help.

Can I cancel after applying and apply for something else?

No. Once you apply for a Free Trial item, you typically cannot cancel it to apply for another.
